The Royal Commission of Inquiry's role ended when the report was presented to Governor-General, Dame Patsy Reddy, on 26 November 2020.

The Department of Internal Affairs is the primary contact for all enquiries relating to the administration of the Royal Commission from 26 November 2020.

The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet are responsible for the response to the Royal Commission's report.
